Victoria Beckham shares unconventional photos from latest shoot

Victoria Beckham has posted photos from her autumn/winter 2015 collection on Facebook, and they're liable to get tongues wagging.

The 40-year-old designer seems to have taken to heart the old adage that controversy sells, with a series of corpse-like models posing in the adverts for her diffusion line Victoria, Victoria Beckham.

Beckham's sister collection features a lower price range and is touted as "free spirited and fun".

The designs for the latest edit are playful and modern, with denim-on-denim, patterns and colourful pops of leather all putting in an appearance.

But the campaign - shot by top photographer Colin Dodgson - takes on a darker edge thanks to a series of apparently lifeless models pictured slumped over chairs and lying on the floor, with glassy eyes and splayed legs.

Though there are a few cheery-looking tulips that make it into the background of some of the photos, so at least that's something.

Some commentators have speculated that Beckham is attempting to emanate the heroin chic trend of the early 90s, which if true, would represent a bold move for the designer.

"Fabrics are played with and re-interpreted in the inimitable VVB style," says the Victoria Beckham label, of its new AW15 Victoria, Victoria Beckham collection.

"Leopard print is applied to heavy crepes and blistered silks, checks are applied to angora and bonded with neoprene, gingham is weaved in to a cloque and crystal embroidery is individually shattered and then held together in delicate metallic cases.

"Colours are vibrant and strong - shocking pink, electric blue and blood red are set against monochrome black and white - all adding to the strong yet still feminine silhouettes."

Come take a look at the photos, below.
